"Cochlea Suite" full set
This set of four prints includes four perspectives of the cochlea and make up the "Cochlea Suite."
They are:
"Blood Supply" A view of the tiny vessels that supply the cochlea with blood visible via scanning electron micrograph
"Cross Section" One of four paintings from the “Cochlea Suite” this painting depicts the cochlea having been sliced down the approximate middle. The cross-sections of the basal, middle and apical turns are visible as they spiral around the modiolu, the central bony canal.
“Slice" depicts a photomicrograph of the cochlea. In this preparation we can see some (sparse) nerve fibers of the osseous lamina striding their way toward the medial wall. Also visible is the organ of corti. This view is available by gross dissection.
"Organ of Corti" This painting shows the three rows of cilia which are part of the outer hair cells (‘v’ shaped portions) as well as the single row of inner hair cells/cilia.

Please Allow 2-3 weeks for print delivery! Each canvas is custom ordered. (I have some very limited stock choices). If you have a time constraint and would like them delivered more quickly, please contact me when you order. I will work with my printer to accomodate your needs!

Larger or non-standard sizes. The canvas giclée prints may be ordered in proportional non-standard sizes. ie, an original with the dimensions of 24" x 36" may be ordered in a 14" x 21" if necessary. Contact me for ordering off-sizes!
