"Eosinophils"
This work is based compositionally on a coronal ct scan through the face, showing ethmoid sinuses, nasal cavity (inferior and middle turbinates) some of each eye orbit, brain and septum. It is a vibrant and flowing work that focuses on color and form. The main subject of this painting is not the anatomy, but rather the organisms found within the sinuses of a person fighting a fungal infection. The black wavy lines are the fungus and the black dots surrounding the lines attacking the fungus, are eosinophils.

Larger or non-standard sizes. The canvas giclée prints may be ordered in proportional non-standard sizes. ie, an original with the dimensions of 24" x 36" may be ordered in a 14" x 21" if necessary. Contact me for ordering off-sizes!
